Wild Turkey? No thanks, I'm ear-tist.

NOTE: No high-speed internet. Pictures tooooo slow to upload. Will add them later

Today: Louisville, KY to Niagara Falls, ON

We woke up really early - and if we had left town then, this would have been a good story (maybe)...

We had originally planned to visit the Wild Turkey distillery as soon as they opened, but Jaron's ear had other plans. He woke up complaining (rather loudly eventually) that his ear hurt. After many many searches and a few phone calls, we waited until Norton Immediate Care opened at 9am and we took him there.

He does, in fact, have an ear infection. The doctor gave us antibiotics and pain medicine, and *then* we were on our way.

Today is mostly driving and, then some more driving. We basically went along one whole side of one of the Great Lakes (Erie?) but only saw it once or twice. We saw 5 states and made it to Canada, but it was a hard drive. So, sorry there's not much content here, but what little there was is here.

We stormed Ohio:

Blew through Cinci: Headed to Erie, PA (which caused Melissa to play clips of "That thing you do"):

Made it to Pennsylvania (but not Erie, PA - and almost missed the sign entirely... and guess who didn't stop?) :)

Saw some scenery (from the truck window):

Made it to New York (and nearly missed the sign again):

Here's the other half of the New York sign:

Made it across the US/Canada border (they don't like you to take pictures), and actually found our hotel rather easily. We're staying at the Skyline Inn in Niagara Falls, ON, Canada. It's a nice hotel. So far, the only trouble we've had is that our door would not open when we got there. They ended up giving us another room and we all fell in to bed and crashed. I'm hoping tomorrow we can let the kids run and play alot and enjoy Niagara Falls. None of us have ever been, so I'm looking forward to it. Wish us luck!
